HDS is Serious About Quality!
HDS just completed the next evolution in our quest to consistently provide the highest quality rotating equipment repairs in the industry. We’ve always said what sets us apart is our dedication to the customer and willingness to exceed their expectations. After a great deal of focus and commitment from our employees, especially Luke Lau and Shannon Matthieu, we have just received our designation as an ISO 9001 compliant company.
This process has been taking place over the past four months. It has been executed in four phases that include the following:
- Documentation
- Identification and development of key QMS processes
- Development of the quality policy
- Writing quality procedures
- Creating quality forms
- Implementation
- Executing various QMS elements
- Generation of records required by the ISO 9001 standard
- Employee training
- Verification
- Internal Audit performed toward end of 3rd phase
- Preparation for Registrar Pre-assessment
- Finalize all documents
- Final Preparation
- Resolution of any Audit findings/corrective actions
- Management review
- Write quality objectives
- Preparation for Registrar Certification Audit
This was a collaborative project, and we appreciate the contributions of everyone on the HDS team to adhere to schedules and produce the deliverables that were required. Our new QMS will give our customers even more assurance that their repairs and rebuilds will be: in the hands of trained experts who are using state-of-the-art equipment; efficiently conducted; and cost effective – time after time.
